Call for Paper

With great pleasure, we announce that the 21^st International Conference on History and Heritage of Itihas Academy will take place on 4^th April 2026 at Asiatic Society of Bangladesh, Dhaka. Itihas Academy cordially invites all to present unpublished research paper on following topics: Archaeology, Architecture, History of Urbanization, Crisis of the Study of History in South Asia, Culture, Diplomacy of SAARC, Religion, Education, Environment and Climate, Folklore, Historiography, History and Politics of Bengal, History of Indian Subcontinent, History of Liberation War of Bangladesh, History of Science and Technology, History of World, Language and Literature, Philosophy, Politics, Society, Women Affairs and Other.

Award

Six Papers will be awarded to be the best article on History and Heritage of Bengal presented in the seminar. Awards are:

1.      Historian Niharranjan Roy Memorial Award (Ancient Era)

2.      Historian Abdul Momin Chowdhury Memorial Award (Ancient Era)

3.      Historian Abdul Karim Memorial Award (Mediaeval Era)

4.      Historian KM Mohsin Memorial Award (Colonial Era)

5.      Historian AF Salahuddin Ahmed Memorial Award (Liberation War of Bangladesh)

6.      Folklorist Ashraf Siddiqui Memorial Award (Culture)

Terms and Conditions:

1. Only Life Member can present the paper and will get certificate. He/she who is not Life Member can present paper after taking membership on the seminar day at Seminar venue.
2. IA will issue Acceptance Letter if the title and abstract be accepted for presentation.
3. Only author can present the article at seminar. Article of joint writers is not acceptable.
4. Article should be written in English or in Bangla. Words should be about 3000 excepting references and footnotes. The article should contain an abstract in English within100 words for both Bangla and English languages. After the conference the soft copy of Article should be sent to this mail ID itihasprabandhamala@gmail.com by 30 April 2026.
5. The article should follow our own Reference style (IA GRP Bangla & IA GRP English).
6. One hard copies of article should be submitted to the Session Chair during presentation.
7. IA will provide Journal, Seminar Kit, Breakfast and Lunch only on the Seminar Day.
8. All fees would be received in cash and in Bangladesh Currency at the Seminar Spot.
9. Only Presented articles will be published next year in Itihas Prabandhamama on the basis of peer-review.
10. No travelling allowance would be provided by Itihas Academy. To arrange visa and travel facilities are of your own responsibility.
11. Itihas Academy deserves the right to impose other terms and conditions.
